Bridging schools and culture in Westminster
Artslink Westminster is the Local Cultural Education Partnership for Westminster, funded by Westminster City Council and coordinated by partners from across the borough with cultural, library and heritage offers.
Westminster’s cultural opportunities are incredible and diverse, and the borough has the highest concentration of National Portfolio Organisations in the whole of the UK. Artslink Westminster aims to support children and young people to access local high-quality cultural, library and heritage experiences, and to live a creative life.
Our Aims
To develop and establish a single space where local offers can be found
To improve engagement between cultural organisations and school and community youth leaders
To provide and share resources that extend the cultural provision for local young people
To undertake shared promotional initiatives
To support network members to gain specialist knowledge and skills through skills sharing and CPD
To offer enrichment and skill development opportunities to teachers
To build capacity in schools for better teaching of cultural, library and heritage topics
