Creative Futures: The Word

Creative Futures offers high-quality arts projects for schools to boost children’s confidence, wellbeing, literacy and language skills, as well as bespoke teacher training.

Our programmes are designed to have lasting positive impact, whilst providing high-quality, accessible and fun arts experiences. Workshops are led by experienced and inspiring DBS-checked practitioners from our family of artists, and overseen by a dedicated Producer.

The Word

Whether you want to put on a Poetry Slam or a more reflective poetry project, we have numerous spoken word artists on our books who are experienced in delivering inspiring and thought-provoking poetry and spoken word workshops.

Projects can be linked to (e.g.) specific curriculum themes, milestone events or Year 6 transition and can conclude with outputs such as a printed anthology or performance event. The project will support literacy and creativity skills, alongside personal development, confidence and teamwork. Projects are delivered as 30 - 45 minute workshops, termly.

Art Forms: KS1 - KS5+Theatre, Writing, Performance. Curriculum links can be incorporated to meet the school's requirements.
