Musical Games

Musical Games is a vocal improvisation and body percussion project designed to build children’s self-confidence and resilience. It is delivered by two Creative Futures musicians who are respectively also a Speech and Language Therapist and Music Therapist.

Participating children will work together to create rhythms, songs, collective movement and sound which will support physiological wellbeing by helping them to relax, heal, and release endorphins leaving children feeling a sense of belonging to the group, and enhanced psychological wellbeing and happiness.

The project can be delivered with whole classes or smaller targeted groups. The project is delivered for 45 minutes once or twice weekly for 20+ weeks.

Art Forms: EYFS, KS1, KS2, SEND Music. Curriculum links can be incorporated to meet the school's requirements.
