Located in the heart of London, the RA is a place where art is made, exhibited and debated. We offer a range of free activities and resources to support teachers, students and young people to engage with art and artists, both at the RA and back in the classroom.

Primary School Workshops

The Royal Academy's primary school workshops are thematic, cross-curricular and revolve around the creative thinking process. Students will explore artworks through close looking, critical thinking and sharing ideas. Making art will develop confidence and understanding of materials, techniques and individual expression.

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays during Westminster term time.

Cost: Workshops are free and only available to state schools.
